Why do I need to complete the Application Form?

We require some additional information that may not be included in your CV or cover letter. The Application Form is compulsory and should be sent along with your cover letter and CV when applying.

Is there a preferred candidate already under consideration?

No. Sportspeople Recruitment has a strict policy of not taking on any recruitment assignment where a preferred candidate has already been identified and selected. If you are a candidate wanting to apply for this role you can do so with absolute confidence you will be considered on merit.

What is the remuneration for the role?

As is the usual practice for senior executive roles, we have not disclosed the remuneration. The Application Form asks you to indicate the remuneration you are seeking. While this won’t be used as a final amount it will provide Sportspeople Recruitment with a guide to what you are seeking. If you progress on factors of merit we will discuss remuneration with you in more detail.

I haven’t been a CEO yet. Should I apply?

While candidates with prior experience in a comparable CEO role will be highly regarded, we are also open to considering those candidates ready to apply the experience gained from a similarly scaled leadership role. So after reading the Position Overview and considering the role dimensions, if you believe you have what it takes we’d be happy to consider you.

I will require immigration or visa sponsorship to work in Australia. Can I apply?

Yes, Tennis NSW is prepared to consider non-residents based on merit. There is a question on the Application Form in regards to residency and further information can be found at immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia.

Will I receive an acknowledgement of my application?

Yes. Sportspeople Recruitment and Tennis NSW value your interest in this role. Every candidate will receive an acknowledgement once the application has been checked and entered into the assignment.
